ALL PEOPLE'S COMMUNITY CENTER
Our grant of $26,756.00 funds an upgrade to their computer lab in order to provide more computer learning classes and allow youth better access to research for homework, school projects, online services, continuing education programs, college admissions and job search. All Peoples Community Center is an all-encompassing neighborhood center in South Los Angeles whose mission is to provide social services and programs that empower individuals and promote community, respect, and self- determination for all. Approximately 300 youth per year will receive computer classes in basic, intermediate and advanced instruction as well as access to online services to research homework and school projects, search for jobs and research and apply to college. With new working computers, All People’s will be able to double the number of computer classes for students. The new equipment and software will provide the crucial support young people need to seek a better and brighter future for themselves and their families.
